2011 Golden Globes Fashion Predictions
We've worked out who'll sink and swim at this year's Golden Globes based on their fashion past--Drew Barrymore and Sandra Bullock who got our tick of approval for their 2009 and 2010 efforts.
The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards are but a flutter of a false eyelash and primping of a bow-tie away.
This year’s bash, honoring the best in film and television for 2010, will be hosted by British comic Ricky Gervais--Luckily, by the time Oscars gets here, I’ve had more time to fill in some of the gaps after Golden Globes.”
What is the weirdest thing you have seen on the Red Carpet?
“The last celebrity who made me feel star struck is Al Pacino. Do you do any special preparation regarding FASHION for the Red Carpet?
Angelina Jolie: Jolie is always one to watch, solely based on the fact that she is Angelina Jolie. Whether it's an unexpected dress detail, those unforgettable emerald earrings from the 2009 Academy Awards, or just her stunning lips painted red, she's a dazzler every time.
January Jones: Like her stylish Mad Men character, Betty Draper, Jones is often topping the best-dressed lists. Olivia Wilde: A versatile fashion fave, Wilde is a red carpet chameleon. Blake Lively: One thing's for sure: When this Gossip Girl star steps on to the red carpet, she's going to look red hot -- probably in some kind of boldly-colored, figure-hugging dress. Known for showing off her best assets, Lively is a prime reason men pretend to care about red carpet fashion coverage. Leighton Meester: While Lively is va-va-voom, her Gossip Girl co-star usually embraces edgier looks that would be eschewed by Blair, the conservative character Meester plays on the show. Carey Mulligan: Whether she's showing off her personable shoe collection or letting a dress take center stage, Mulligan enjoys making a fashion statement. Julianna Margulies: Nominee and The Good Wife star Margulies loves a black dress on the red carpet, and she usually pulls it off smashingly. Sofia Vergara: Modern Family scores a double whammy at awards programs. Lea Michele: Any dazzling that Michele does on Glee is eclipsed by her smart sense of style on the red carpet.
